1. Introduction
Capitol Express Lines ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Capitol Xpress Lines mobile application and web portal (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Services.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and role (driver, customer, dispatcher, or administrator).
Driver Information
For driver accounts, we additionally collect commercial driver's license details, medical card information, endorsements, and drug test records as required by federal transportation regulations.
Location Data
When drivers have an active move in progress, the mobile app collects GPS location data in the background to provide real-time shipment tracking and accurate ETAs. Location tracking is only active during assigned moves and stops automatically when a move is completed. We collect latitude, longitude, speed, heading, and accuracy data.
Documents and Photos
Drivers may upload photos and documents through the app, including Bills of Lading (BOL), Proof of Delivery (POD), and other shipment-related documents. These are stored securely and associated with the relevant shipment records.
Device Information
We collect device identifiers and push notification tokens to deliver notifications about move assignments, status changes, and other operational updates.
